Rokid smart glasses now support Google Gemini

As smart glasses continue to gain popularity, we're seeing more options and more features. Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses are perhaps among the most popular, and a similar pair of smart glasses from Rokid offers a very similar experience, now with Google's Gemini assistant on call. The Rokid AI glasses are, in several ways, quite similar to Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses. The “Style” model announced earlier this year includes open speakers, a 12MP camera, and voice assistant-ready. The $299 smart glasses weigh 38.5g, offer up to 12 hours of battery life (much longer than Meta), and have the same processor and camera as Meta's glasses. In a software update announced earlier this month, Rokid opened support for more AI assistant options, including Google Gemini. Users can switch between AI assistants, but there's no description of what each assistant can do with the glasses, although presumably it's not as simple as connecting the assistant from your connected phone.
